The client has to source and help hire candidates for a reputed MNC across multiple roles and different levels. The biggest challenges were:
In the massive pool of candidates, screen and identify people who have the hands-on experience on skills relevant to each job role
The selection rate during the final interview (taken by the MNC) was 4% of the candidates applied, the challenge was to find better profiles and bring down the volumes of people to be interviewed for selection
After thorough understanding of client needs, technologies, and assessment requirements, we helped them screen and hire people using 2 levels of assessment process powered by Yaksha.
LEVEL 1 – PLATFORM ASSESSMENTS
We set up skill-based assessments (duration of 60 min.) for applicants who were applying for the roles to accurately test and evaluate their skills
Since the assessments were auto-graded and would give accurate results, it was an effective screening method.
However, the volumes of test-takers were less as they preferred traditional interview and selection process
To incentivise test-takers, it was announced that the candidates who would take platform assessments would skip 2 rounds in the process to reach the interview round
Candidates selected through Yaksha assessments had higher level of match for the job profiles intended
LEVEL 2 – VIRTUAL INTERVIEWS
Yaksha isn’t just an assessments platform, it’s an end-to-end hiring solution, therefore the team also suggested an alternate process for the candidate screening
For applicants who did not opt platform assessments, Yaksha took the end-to-end selection process through the conventional interview and assessment rounds conducted by the renowned subject-matter experts in respective technologies via virtual mode
The screening criteria and process was inbuilt within the Yaksha platform for smoother flow and accurate reports on candidates selected
The candidates who were identified in this process was then selected for final rounds by the MNC
The entire evaluation process was proctored by Yaksha 365° proctoring to ensure 100% authenticity of the identity of the candidates as well as prevent any kind of malpractices while taking the assessments.
The no. of final interviews to close each role has significantly reduced from an average of 40 interviews per role to 4 interviews per role
